Booking Terms and Conditions

Before making your booking with TriCounty Tours please read through our terms and conditions below. Please note that final confirmation of your booking implies acceptance of all of these conditions.

BOOKING

A contract between the Operator (TriCounty Tours) and the Customer will exist and be legally binding on both parties when a booking form has been completed, submitted with a required 10% non-refundable deposit and accepted by the Operator. The balance of all payments must be received not less than 30 days before the date of the confirmed tour. Should the balance remaining not be paid by this date, the Operator reserves the right to cancel the booking and to retain the deposit.

Customers may pay by Online Banking, BACS or Cheque on receipt of a TriCounty Tours invoice. Cheque payment cannot be accepted for any booking made within 14 days of a tour start date. Late payment will result in cancellation by the Operator and a levy of a cancellation charge as below. For practical reasons if paying by cheque we ask that customers please pay at least two weeks before their tour date. Any bookings made within 30 days of the tour must be paid in full at the time of the booking.

CANCELLATION

Tour bookings can be cancelled by the Customer at any time subject to the Operator receiving notice of cancellation in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:

  • From 30 to 20 days prior to tour – 40% of total due.
  • From 19 to 10 days prior to tour – 75% of total due.
  • Less than 9 days prior to tour – 100% of total due.

The Operator has the right to cancel a tour in which case the Customer will receive a full refund. If the Operator needs to alter a tour itinerary then full details will be provided to the Customer with as much notice as is reasonable. Customers will have the right to cancel a booking if any changes or alterations by the Operator are so major as to make the tour no longer viable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Operator accepts responsibility for all the provisions of tours, as detailed in their publicity material, unless affected by acts of God as legally defined and therefore outside the control of the Operator.

The Operator expects that the Customer will be at the pick up point on time. If the Customer is delayed for any reason the Operator will expect to be notified by voice or text message on the designated mobile number (see website Contact page for more information.) The Customer must provide the Operator with a contact telephone number at the point of confirmation of booking.

Please note that the Operator does not retain any personal or financial Customer information once booking transactions are completed.
